Overview

Set within a secluded pocket of the Surrey greenbelt, Windlebrook Park is a gated development of four individually designed contemporary barns, each crafted for luxury living in a tranquil woodland setting.

Crux created the complete development brand from the ground up, defining an identity that reflects modern craftsmanship, rural calm and architectural precision. From naming and logo design to brochure creation, site signage, and digital presence, every element was built to express the project’s elegant “retro-industrial” aesthetic and high-end positioning.

Our approach

Our goal was to create a brand that felt both rooted and refined, a modern interpretation of country living that balanced architectural confidence with a natural ease. Every element of the identity was designed to reflect that duality: the clean geometry of the mark, the warmth of the palette, and the tactile feel of materials throughout the brochure and signage.

We built a visual language around contrasts, raw textures against polished detailing, light against shadow, simplicity against substance. This became the foundation for a suite of marketing materials that included the full brochure series, detailed floorplans and site layouts, bespoke maps and a dedicated microsite.

Photography played a crucial role in telling the story, capturing not just the homes but the atmosphere, the stillness of the woodland, the craftsmanship in every surface, the light that moves through the barns. Together, it formed a calm, cohesive brand world that spoke to design-led buyers seeking space, privacy and distinction.
